Bat Nights by Michiel Folkers
Michiel Folkers’ ‘Bat Nights’ is a striking original piece that captures the essence of iconic imagery through a contemporary lens. Measuring 113 × 113 cm, this artwork is a testament to Folkers’ innovative approach, utilizing old street posters and a variety of aged materials. The mixed media collage is brought to life with graffiti spray-painted stencils, creating a dynamic interplay of textures and colors. The bold blues and yellows contrast with the muted tones, drawing the viewer into a world where nostalgia meets modernity. This piece would make a captivating addition to any collection, offering a unique conversation starter and a vibrant focal point for your space.
