Heads Or Tails

In ‘Heads Or Tails’, Michiel Folkers masterfully combines nostalgia and urban art through a vibrant mixed media collage. This original piece, measuring 113 × 113 cm, showcases a beloved icon in a fresh, contemporary light. Folkers employs old street posters and a variety of aged tools, such as damaged brushes and blunt knives, to create a textured backdrop that contrasts beautifully with the bold, graffiti-style stencils. The playful character, adorned in bright yellow and purple, stands out against the layered, abstract background, inviting viewers to explore the intersection of past and present. This artwork is not just a visual delight but a conversation starter, making it a perfect addition to any modern collection or living space.
