Doing Alright

Michiel Folkers’ ‘Doing Alright’ is a vibrant celebration of pop culture and artistic innovation. This original piece, measuring 113 × 113 cm, captures the essence of iconic imagery through a dynamic mixed media collage. Folkers expertly layers old street posters with graffiti spray-painted stencils, creating a textured and lively composition. The artwork features a jubilant figure in a superhero costume, set against a backdrop of bold yellows, blues, and reds. The use of damaged brushes and blunt tools adds a raw, authentic feel, making each piece unique.
