False Alarm! Artist Proof

Leigh Lambert’s ‘False Alarm! Artist Proof’ is a delightful exploration of humour and nostalgia, capturing a lively street scene with his signature style. The monochromatic backdrop of a quaint neighbourhood is punctuated by the vibrant red of a vintage fire engine, drawing the eye and sparking curiosity. Children, full of excitement, chase after the fire engine, their colourful attire adding a playful contrast to the grey surroundings. The scene is set against the backdrop of ‘The Fox & Hounds’ pub, a familiar landmark that adds a touch of local charm. This limited edition piece, measuring 70 x 82 cm framed, is a testament to Lambert’s ability to blend everyday life with whimsical storytelling. Perfect for adding a touch of humour and warmth to any collection, this artwork invites viewers to reminisce about simpler times and the joy of childhood adventures.
