Siesta

Paul Powis invites you to explore a vibrant landscape in his original piece, ‘Siesta’. This striking artwork, framed at 10 × 111.8 × 81.8 cm, captures the essence of a serene landscape through bold acrylic strokes on board. The composition is a dance of subjective colour, where rich oranges and deep blues contrast against a vivid pink and blue sky, creating a dynamic yet tranquil scene. The trees, with their expressive forms, cast intriguing shadows that add depth and movement to the piece. Powis’s unique approach to mark-making blurs the line between abstraction and representation, offering viewers a fresh perspective on the natural world. This artwork would be a captivating addition to any collection, bringing a burst of colour and a sense of calm to your space.
