About the Artist

Linda Charles studied textiles and fashion at university and her background is evident throughout her work, whether it be with heavy texture, using multiple forms of mixed media including gold and silver leaf or simply the patternation in her artwork. Linda has spent her career developing new ideas and continues to break new ground as she strives to produce work that both connects on cerebral and visual levels and produces the same feelings in the viewer as it does with her when she paints it.
