Measuring 53 × 46 cm, this piece is a testament to Lambert’s unique style, where monochromatic cityscapes are brought to life with strategic splashes of color. The scene depicts a quaint street corner, where children eagerly gather outside a shop, their vibrant clothing contrasting against the muted tones of the surrounding architecture. This juxtaposition not only highlights the innocence and joy of childhood but also evokes a sense of community and warmth. The meticulous detail in the cobblestone streets and the vintage shopfront transports the viewer to a simpler time, making it a perfect addition to any collection. Whether displayed in a living room or a study, this artwork invites viewers to pause and reminisce, adding a touch of charm and history to your space.
