The iconic Paul Wright

We are delighted to announce the arrival of a brand new studio edition by Paul Wright, which features a beautiful rendition of Marilyn Monroe. The new edition has been supported by a stunning new collection of original artwork, all of which are available to view now.

Paul Wright is a British painter who studied at the distinguished Falmouth College of Art. He is renowned for portrait painting throughout the UK and endeavours to capture the true essence of his subject, bringing it to life through his collaboration of paint and canvas.

Stylistically, there are elements of both Impressionism and Cubism at play as Paul seeks to portray the personality of his muse. The brushstroke is prevailing in his compositions. It is dynamic and powerful, and every stroke is significant, commanding the space on the canvas of which it occupies. There is no blurring or softening of stroke, there is only a mesh of distinctive and contrasting colourful, or monochromatic tones. This intensity is delicately balanced, so as not to overshadow the subject that he seeks to portray. There is a freshness to his subjects, and they are imbued with an energy, with a force of life that honours the characters that they became in front of the artist’s easel.

Paul is now a hugely successful British artist with a unique style which has earned him great admiration amongst the art establishment and the loyalty of many art collectors.
